The labeling is inconsistent. The manual is a joke Overall Review: It works, but there are lots of limitations to S-video and RCA that make it look bad, which is not the adapter's fault. Pros: Ease of use, compact, and light-weight. True plug-n-play with no drivers or software needed. Reproduced on the TV screen what I had on the computer quite clearly. Cons: Nothing out of the ordinary for pretty much any PC to TV scan converter: text is a bit fuzzy on the edges due mostly to the TV and not the box.
Cons: After about 2 or three hours, the picture starts to get fuzzy, gradually deteriorating to unwatchable. Overall Review: I bought this for my karaoke show and have consistantly had to drag out a computer monitor to connect the conventional way because the picture eventually gets to unwatchable! Absolutely unwatchable. I bought this to watch Netflix on my TV and there is no picture quality difference whatsoever in using this and running an s-video cable directly from your video card. The menu settings barely work if at all. Nothing produced an acceptable image.
