Entering Text Using the Input Panel Use the input panel to enter information into any program on your device. Page Letter Recognizer Letter Recognizer Letter Recognizer allows you to use your stylus to write letters on the screen as you would write them on paper. Other versions do not support Letter Recognizer. Page Transcriber Transcriber Transcriber allows you to write anywhere on the screen using the stylus similar to the way that you would write on paper.
Unlike Letter Recognizer and Block Recognizer, you can write a sentence or more, and then pause to let Transcriber change the written characters to typed characters. If a word is not recognized, it is not converted to print-style text.
