I keep getting the "Media Manager 9 Module has stopped working" After contacting Blackberry I have tried the lasted version of Desktop Software with the same result. Rather than try to uninstall it, I chose to ignore it and used drag and drop with a card reader to swap files on my memory card. And we can't completely discount that the modems are bad from the start, or that a virus, or malware, is damaging them.
It would be nice if Verizon could tell you what they found with the modems you returned. It is possible, but unlikely, that they were all improperly prepared by Verizon. So, some delay before getting your sixth one is OK.
